Re: 2019/4/30: Playstation 4: Atari Flashback Classics Vol. 3

The collection is very good in my opinion, and I've barely touched the sports games and have little interest in those. I will say that the one virtual quarter I put into Atari Basketball was a pleasant experience and I intend to put more time into it. Most of the arcade games are fun to play, three ...

I hope the excellent Sega Ages line will be unaffected.

Re: 2019/4/30: Playstation 4: Atari Flashback Classics Vol. 3

Solid review, although I personally thought Monte Carlo controlled beautifully. Mapping the arcade's steering wheel to point where the analog stick is pointing was genius and made the three arcade racers here fully playable. Moving on, the weapon your destroyer is dropping into the ocean to attack s...

Re: Sega SG-1000 Disc for Dreamcast

Do you happen to be aware of the Analogue Mega SG? https://www.analogue.co/mega-sg/ It's a brand new high-quality Sega Genesis system that is 100% authentic recreation on a fpga (Not software emulation), runs in 1080p, offers zero input lag, supports the entire cartridge library, etc (Just no 32X su...

Re: Talespin (Turbografx)

You never saw TaleSpin? TaleSpin was an animated Disney cartoon series from ~1990 that ran long enough that it took three DVD releases to get the entire series out. Was spawned from the success of DuckTales that was just wrapping up around when this series was inaugurated. It obviously adapts charac...

Re: RIP Wii Shop Channel to end service on January 31, 2019!

If handhelds count, the PSP release of a decade or so ago remains available digitally on the Playstation Store for $15. It's called Castlevania: The Dracula X Chronicles and while the primary game is a 2.5d remake of Rondo, the original PC Engine game and Symphony of the Night are both unlockable. I...

Re: SNK 40th Anniversary Collection (Switch)

Here's one golden oldie that slipped past them. It's called Satan of Saturn and has just about everything I like from an early 80's arcade game. Plenty of action, high difficulty, bright colorful graphics, and solid sound effects and catchy musical jingles. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mzBgDNmsyy...

Re: SNK 40th Anniversary Collection (Switch)

You should've gotten the just released PS4 version. They're all on the disc there. :) Don't just patch the Switch version though since you won't have all the games that way. There are actually 11 DLC arcade additions instead of 9. Beast Busters and Search and Rescue aren't in the patch and must be m...

Re: Move over, ATGames. M2 is here to save the day!

You may want to consider the Analogue Mega SG then. It's an extremely accurate high-definition Sega Genesis reproduction running on a fpga computer. Via a firmware update, you're able to load up a SD card with all original Genesis software other than Virtua Racing with its onboard processor, as well...

Re: Move over, ATGames. M2 is here to save the day!

One quick question I'd like to ask: Will you be able to add your own ROMS to it via an SD card or by hacking it? Nobody knows yet. Been no confirmation of a SD card slot. I did notice the fake cartridge slot flaps being operable in a video, so perhaps a SD port is lurking inside? Seems like a rathe...
