Re: Madden 19 (Playstation 4)

Oh, and a few other thoughts: 1) The computer still completes passes at a ridiculous rate. Drew Brees completed ten passes out of ten against me at one point. This is the norm in this game, not the exception. 2) What a god-awful soundtrack! Amateur mumble-rap anyone? Ugh! I used to like Madden's sou...

Re: I'm SCARTing!

A lot of it just depends on if I want surround sound or not. If I use my CRT, then I don't get my surround sound, since I have that for the 4K. If I must have that surround sound, then I use the Framemeister. And SCART.

Re: Legend of Zelda: Triforce Heroes (3DS)

Lol. I actually like most household chores. After a long work day of wearing my brain out dealing with complex issues, I’m happy to do some dishes and laundry. The simple tasks are relaxing and I like seeing tangible results. Haha really? Usually I'd just want a beer and my video games. I'm lazy. I...

Re: Super Mario Bros. 2

You don't seem especially sorry for being a horrible, horrible kid. Actually, there is this one kid who, if I ever saw him again, I would like to apologize to. In all seriousness. I always forgo the warps because I think the bosses are so great and memorable. Nintendo has a bit habit of just using ...

I'm back to CRTing. Just that nothing beats it.

Re: Video Game Memories

Haha, I seem to include all my memories in my reviews. I feel as if they make them pop a bit more by relating them to something that could have happened to any of us.

Helps I wasn't a very bright kid.

Super Mario Bros. 2

Oh, how I wanted this game when I was a kid! But I kept on getting in trouble. I almost had it in November 1988. We were going to go to Toys R' Us that evening after school, but the teacher had called home right as I was putting my coat on. What I did was at lunch, I ate my bag of Doritos, then stuf...

Re: ABC Monday Night Football (SNES)

Glad you guys like my reviews. As I always said, video games really tend to bring back memories. I looked up the game on C64 on Youtube, but couldn't find it. They did have the DOS version on there. And come to think of it, I remember I had that game, but gave it to my friend. We'd be on the phone m...

Legend of Zelda: Triforce Heroes (3DS)

The big problem with this game is that much of it feels like a chore. And I don't like to do chores. I always have been this way. When I was a kid, I'd be getting grounded left and right because I wouldn't clean my room, or because I'd leave the milk out, or because my mom found my pot. I guess that...

ABC Monday Night Football (SNES)

Since Madden is once again a dud that I've basically figured out, I'm on the search for a good football game. "ABC Monday NIght Football" on Super Nintendo ain't it! That's not to say that there aren't some features that totally kick butt, but they're not enough to keep me playing. The fea...
