Re: Bad Parts in Good Games

In Twilight Princess, the parts where you have to collect those stupid tears of light. Skyward Sword has something similar to that. It's a good game, but full of these moments that suck.

Re: 2015/5/12: Playstation 4: MLB 15 The Show, Mortal Kombat X

MLB The Show has some of the best lighting I've ever seen in a video game. This makes a HUGE difference. Wrigley Field looks like how I've always remembered it as. The ball gets hit to right field, and visions of Andre Dawson flash back into mind on a pleasant summer afternoon by the outfield ivy in...

Re: "It's terrible but I like it anyway" games

I seem to remember wanting to get home from the club to play MLB 2K10. And I had some pretty good times with Bible Adventures, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (Taito), and Total Recall.

Yeah, my friends thought I was nuts.

Re: 2015/5/2: Game Gear: NBA Jam, NBA Jam Tournament Edition

I remember playing NBA Jam for hours on the Game Gear. If I could find an outlet, that is.

Gauze, pizza, rubbing alcohol, or other similar items immediately bringing you back from near death. Nevermind that you have seven slugs in your chest, that water you just drank will cure all.

Re: MLB 15 The Show (PS4)

Have you actually seen any of these glitches first hand? I'd like to hear about them. Yes I have. Here's a screenshot with a few examples: http://i1370.photobucket.com/albums/ag260/Herschie/11012194_10153894530098228_2864903737949426698_o_zpsvtqcoabl.jpg The circle at the top: The poor lady looks l...

Re: MLB 15 The Show (PS4)

This game has some graphical glitches that are pretty major and that I've heard from Sony can't be patched. In my opinion, this should affect the grade it gets, as awesome as the game is otherwise. It's like going to a Civil War reenactment and seeing one of the characters on their cell phone. Takes...

Re: The Gamecube is the most underrated console ever!

One thing to note about the gamecube is the rising prices for all of the main games for the console. I remember when Wind Waker was like $5 and now it's priced around $50. The time to buy NGC games cheap has passed. Thankfully, I only have a few more games on my radar for the console but they'll pr...

Re: PS4 Suspend Function

This is the best thing to ever happen to video game consoles. Now I can confidently start a game of MLB: The Show or Madden, and know that if my wife comes at me with a honey-do list, or the dog has to go out, or when I just have 20 minutes to play, I can just put it into suspend and play it later. ...

Re: Video game retailers you used to visit and the memories you have of them

A couple weeks ago, I was at Toys R' Us trying to procure an early copy of MLB 15: The Show. I failed, but that's not the point. Since I was out visiting my mother, this was the same one that she took me to as a kid. It's changed a bit since then, but I'll always remember the walls and walls of endl...
