Re: Jesus... Anyone notice the increase in game prices lately?

I think there are three major things contributing to the higher prices...which have all mostly been touched upon. Ebay changing policy - The fact that they don't charge a fee for a listing any longer means there is zero incentive to move product at lower prices. With videogames a few big re-sellers ...

Recent Gaming Pick Ups

I think years back we used to have a thread discussing what our more recent finds and purchases were. I've been bitten by the collecting bug the past few months and playing more games than I have in recent years. Here is what I've acquired in the past eight weeks or so: NES Mighty Bomb Jack Dig Dug ...

Re: Wii U or Wait?

Here is the thing the Wii U...we all know that its time is numbered. There is nothing worse than buying a console only to find out that games/support will be drying up in a year or two. The problem is that Nintendo is still keeping the NX under wraps as they don't want to cause Wii U owners to panic...

Re: All the way through?

Finished a couple of games recently: Lollipop Chainsaw - I played about halfway through this one when it originally came out and lost interest. So recently I started over and actually finished it this time. I think it's a really great beat em up. If you're a fan of "classic" no frills beat...

Re: Popeye (NES)

Heh...I literally just picked up a copy of this game today. I've been on an arcade style kick and there are some really great choices on the NES. Popeye tends to get overlooked in the NES library, but for fans of highscore gaming it isn't one to be missed!

Re: Favorite Album Closers of All Time?

Cool topic. I can think of a few really great ones off the top of my head: Rush - Natural Science: This one closes out their Permanent Waves record and man is it friggin good. The song is a a 9 minute journey about the rise and fall of a civilization. It's just a really rocking track and the first t...

Re: Why is Ocarina of Time on the 3DS so expensive????

Hey thanks for the heads up on Nintendo pushing out this new greatest hits lineup. Really glad to see them re-releasing Pikmin 3 and others at affordable prices!

Re: Xenoblade Chronicles on Virtual Console in US?

I'm assuming you don't have a standard Wii, but if you're planning on getting a Wii U you can still just buy the Wii version. In recent months it has come back down to a reasonable price for brand new copies. Right now you can snag a copy on Amazon for like $42. That's a great deal considering I pai...

Re: Worms Forts (Xbox)

Yup. Worms Forts and Worms 3D were awful. Some games just don't need to be in 3D. Worms is one of those games.

Re: 200 Greatest Games Of The '90s- By The VGC Community

52. Mega Man 2 (NES) It seems a shame that there hasn't been a single game listed from the Mega Man series. While the first game is arguably more important, the second game is where Capcom perfected the Blue Bomber. MM2 has some of the most memorable music on the NES, great level design, and unforg...
