Re: Anyone receiving the TurboGrafx-16 Mini next week?

It looks like Project Lunar is progressing. Once it's complete we should be able to hack the mini and add whatever ROMs we want. It has 4 GB of memory which should give us plenty of space. The CDROM games are compressed which should help with space issues. For me I can quickly free up the PC Engine ...

Re: Sega Game Gear Micro

April Fools was two months ago! My concerns are the following: 1. Too tiny to read the text. 2. Only 4 games for each color. 3. $50 for 4 games feels way too high. 4. The "magnifier" requires ordering all 4 colors for $200. On the plus side, it's by M2 so there's hope the quality is good a...

Re: 2020/6/2: Playstation 3: Dragon's Lair, Dragon's Lair II: Time Warp, Space Ace

Dumb question time. Do your Blu-ray movies play fine on your PS3? If not then it may be the laser going bad. I used to do tech support for Creative Labs. DVD drives had different lasers for cd and dvds. I have no idea how blu-rays works but it used to be the DVD would stop working while the CDs woul...

It's on the turbo mini. I haven't tried it yet but it's there.

Because it's called Galaga '88. :)

And it's on the PC Engine tab.

Re: Anyone receiving the TurboGrafx-16 Mini next week?

If I had any complaints, I'd like to see a bit more of the action games, like Bloody Wolf or Legendary Axe. But overall, the game selection is very good, everything plays well, and it's nice having those save states. Yeah, I was curious why Legendary Axe didn't make it either. Supposedly, the right...

Re: Anyone receiving the TurboGrafx-16 Mini next week?

I spent two hours last night playing Neutopia. The main complaints for Neutopia from reading past reviews was that the password feature was a pain. With instant saves and reloads that complaint goes away. If you enjoy adventure games in the vein or style of the Legend of Zelda, you'll find a lot to ...

Re: Anyone receiving the TurboGrafx-16 Mini next week?

My daughter and I have gotten so much mileage out of last year’s Sega Mini, so I’m all about this, especially once I found out that M2 was behind it. My only complaint is the tease that is Snatcher. I’m sure that Konami understands how many people would love to be able to play the game without fork...

Re: Anyone receiving the TurboGrafx-16 Mini next week?

Thanks for the feedback. I feel confident now I will have no trouble playing the TG16. I am really looking forward to it. The TG16 was not a console I owned growing up (I recollect seeing them in toy and electronic stores when I was very young but all us kids back then were Genesis/Snes). Yeah, sam...

Re: Anyone receiving the TurboGrafx-16 Mini next week?

Yeah, you can use any standard USB adapter. I unplugged the NES Classic and swapped it with the Turbo Mini without issue. I also ordered the 8Bitdo TG16 2.4G Wireless Gamepad to avoid dealing with cords. It's freaking awesome. It's probably been a decade since I've played Lords of Thunder. That game...
