Re: 2019/10/12: Nintendo Switch: Star Wars Pinball

For the folks complaining about the Battlefront games, have you played them? I rarely game these days but had a few hours to kill on Friday and Saturday. I fired up Battlefront II on the Xbox One to try my hand at multiplayer. It was fun. Whatever updates they've done made dog fighting and the run a...

Re: Nu Atari news.

Did you see that the guy that was designing it quit? He's the same guy that originally designed the Xbox. He hadn't got paid in 6 months.

Now, he's doing a kickstarter for a digital board game. It actually looks pretty cool. If it takes off I wouldn't mind buying one, it looks cool.

Re: Biker Mice From Mars (SNES)

I loved the intro music to the cartoon with its guitar riffs. That's cool the game has a similar rock music vibe to it.

Re: Star Wars Trilogy Arcade

I'm really enjoying your reviews of these arcade games. What kind of setup are you running to play them?

Re: All the way through?

It is amazing that this thread started 10 years ago!!! Almost done with Gears 5....a rather unspectacular game and even worse story in my humble opinion. Awe, man! I miss playing the campaigns over online co-op. We'll have to go through co-op on Gears 6. I'm sure by the time it releases I can set a...

Re: 2019/9/25: Game Gear: G-Loc Air Battle, Aerial Assault

In the G-Loc review there's a typo. Change become to before.

In Aerial Assault are there more than two stages? You mention the first stage. And then you mention a second stage. Is that it?

They both actually sound like fun games to play.

Thanks for the reviews.

Re: Big Games Coming Up for the Holidays?

Ring Fit Adventure - Switch  haha, I got the email from Nintendo announcing it last week as well. I had never even heard of it until their email blast. The only game I'd be interested in is the Zelda remake coming out on Switch. This year feels like a transition year with little in the way...

Re: Is there a website out there that has detailed release dates by region for Atari 2600 games?

I'm sorry I don't know the answer but am really curious how you plan to use this information? I've been finding that Hyperspin and Launchbox have tools that will scrape for game metadata. It's possible they have some of this information available. But, I'm not sure how you're using the information a...

Re: MAME Arcade System

From what I can tell they function similar to a mouse cursor. I believe they use the Ultimarc guns. They plug in via USB and use an IR receiver of some sort. https://www.ultimarc.com/aimtrak.html It looks like one can even get recoil for the guns. Although, that might be a bit of an overkill. The ar...

MAME Arcade System

Does anyone have experience either buying, building, or playing a MAME arcade? Once we finish our basement I think I'll get one. I could build one myself but that requires a lot more time than I have these days. The quicker alternative is to buy one. It seems like there are lots of choices available...
