Re: Unsupported Video Signal for PS1 games on PS2?

Haha, yeah, I love that picture too. I miss the days when I had every system hooked up. Those were great days. Now, I get to live vicariously through others. You know it might be fun to see a weekly picture of your room with cheetos, beer, and all. Maybe, that becomes your next feature. Soon you'll ...

Try it both ways for a few days and then throw up a poll. :D

Re: 3DO games not reviewed yet by the VGC

These lists are awesome. Nice job. I love 3DO reviews. To me the system at the time was the console port of a suped up 486 computer.

Thanks for the tips and suggestions. I really appreciate it. It also sounds like waiting a bit longer is the right approach.

What age should I introduce my daughter to video games?

Okay, as much of a video game nut as I am, I've yet to introduce home video games to my daughter. If we see an arcade somewhere I let her have at it. She had a blast playing sit down arcade racers or at least pretending to. But, I don't want her to only want to play games and not do anything else. S...

Re: Will you miss Game Stop

I won't miss them. I can't fathom how a corporate policy of opening new games, taking out the disks, and then selling them as "New" is required. It boggles the mind.

Good riddance.

Re: The lame excuse as why EA is not bringing many of its games on Switch!

Would you actually buy Madden on the Switch? If not why do you care what they publish on it? If you want to play those games buy a used xbox one or ps4 for cheap. Based on pipelines and tools if you can make a single game that can be ported fairly easily to both PS4 and Xbox One systems you would be...

Re: The lame excuse as why EA is not bringing many of its games on Switch!

Dude, it's a company. Of course, they don't care about you, neither does Apple, Google, or Amazon. They are in it to make a profit and find the largest return on investment. If they thought they could make more money on the Switch with the same level of investment they would do so. It's a business.....

Re: Nostalgic and/or Favorite Video Game Mags

With Gamepro, one of my favorite bad review was for Mega Man V on the GB, where the review trashed the game for how it played on the Super Game Boy, not on the native portable. EGM reviews were usually helpful, though they had a bad habit of scoring 7s waaay to often... Yes! I usually only bought g...

Re: Nostalgic and/or Favorite Video Game Mags

Yeah, for me my favorite was definitely EGM or Electronic Gaming Monthly. I loved the four person review crew takes on games. At $50 to $60 or more per game it was a huge investment and I wanted to make sure I was going to get a good game. My second favorite magazine would have been Video Games and ...
