Re: Hard Pass from me on PS1 Classic
Apparently they couldn’t get the licence or permission for Crash, Spyro or Tomb Raider. https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/arstechnica.com/gaming/2018/10/playstation-classics-full-game-list-is-missing-at-least-one-of-your-faves/%3famp=1 All Playstation consoles greatest strength has been brilliant third...

Re: Castlevania: Symphony of the Night
Not sure how I missed the librarian it’s fairly obvious. Lesson learnt make sure every entrance is searched. I do like the aesthetics and the gameplay is tight. Guess I’m just used to more linear games. The only other Castlevania games I’ve played for a reasonable amount of time are Bloodlines and R...

Re: Ranking the Sonic the Hedgehog Genesis games
3D blast is better if you pretend it is not a Sonic game. Yeah it should have been Flicky 3D Blast or Flicky 2 and actually have Flicky as the character not Sonic.. But I suppose this was the start of sticking Sonic’s name on everything for sales. If I want a quick game I go for Sonic 2 because it ...

Re: Castlevania: Symphony of the Night
After all the recent Castlevania talk it’s prompted me to finally try what is held up as the best in the series. Well I’m having the same issue as the OP I’ve hit a brick wall and am just traversing around aimlessly. Reading this posts seems like I’ve somehow missed the library and librarian. But fo...

Yes I applaud Konami for producing 3 top notch games that all play to the host platforms strengths rather than making half assed ports.

Re: Ranking the Sonic the Hedgehog Genesis games
Cool. I’ve only played the originals a handful of times, mostly because I wasn’t that good at them. I’m never sure if the goal is to always be moving fast, or take your time and explore Mario-style. I’ve been wanting to try again, so I recently picked up Sonic Colors. That’s the great thing about t...

Re: PS2-Activision Anthology
Laser Blast is one of gaming's big missed opportunities. Good concept that's initially fun to play, attractive graphics, and solid audio. And being able to go kamikaze and steer your doomed ufo into the anti-saucer laser that just shot you down was a really nice touch. But why the heck does the dif...

Re: PS2-Activision Anthology
Anyone had issues with patches unlocking on this ?
I’ve met the requirements for Laser Blast a couple of times but nothing unlocked ? Does it have to be on a set variation or something ?
I mean this games dull anyway without playing it over and over.

Re: What happened to Paprium?
Looks like this might finally be landing soon. The developers are having a launch party in France (the lead developers homeland) at the end of the month.
They will have playable games at the event - so hopefully by Xmas ?
