Re: 2019/3/20: Nintendo 64: Super Mario 64, Namco Museum 64

I'll admit I've been playing it a bit. But it's almost impossible to play the game and not at least 1 time have some ridiculous camera view screw up a jump. I really think that the game was late and they had to hurry up. It makes no sense to have Yoshi but only give you 100 lives which was pointless...

If you remember Michael Jordan wasn’t in basketball video games for a long time if not ever. He was sort of too cool for school and EA and others would have had to pay him a substantial sum. Of course now EA can afford anything now. Besides the games that Jordan’s name was the title of and perhaps t...

Re: Lethal Enforcers 3 (arcade)

There’s been at least one game “lips tight” that looked good on YouTube that when I bought it was completely boring and never played again.

Re: 2019/3/20: Nintendo 64: Super Mario 64, Namco Museum 64

I just wanted to add one more thing. I really think that the game was late and they had to get in done in time for launch. The launch date was already delayed a year. There are basically very few songs, maybe 2. Not being able to use Luigi was ridiculous and maybe it's because the game was late. Whe...

Re: EA no longer has NFL Exclusivity!

There were so many NFL football video game franchises back in the mid 90’s I don’t even remember all of them. And most if not all of them had real players too. I bet 2k probably isn’t allowed to do a career mode with this arcade style game. Personally I’m not sure the arcade football game hasn’t bee...

Re: EA no longer has NFL Exclusivity!

I just read about it. 2k Sports can’t do simulation style games it has to be arcadey like NFL blitz. Probably good in the grand scheme of things. But EA still basically has an exclusivity deal.

Re: No one to play games with

I think it comes down to lifestyle. There’s guys I play basketball with that would probably want to play some Neo Geo games with me, but it’s women that get in the way. These guys have women in their lives. Having fun playing video games with the guys means stress in 5)3 relationship. Once that happ...

Re: No one to play games with

I feel the exact same way. People are too caught up in being grownups. A lot of people I think have spouses who get in the way or are just too consumed with having a social life.

Re: Video Games that have stuck with you through time/are important to you

I’d say Super Mario World bc it’s probably my favorite game and I played it during my formative years. I still love it to this day. An honorable mention to Baseball Stars 2 playing it at the local bowling alley with my brother. I’ll throw in the first one and Super Baseball 2020. Those were the nice...

Re: 2019/3/20: Nintendo 64: Super Mario 64, Namco Museum 64

I’ve been playing this for the first time in years. And I remember where every star is which is cool. But I finally have a realistic view of this. I fully agree now with the VGC’s grade of a B-. There are so many spots in the game where you either miss a jump because of the bad camera angle and have...
