Re: Games with sections that almost ruin it

I keep thinking about that darn squirrel or bear or whatever he was in Banjo kazoie and you can’t skip the teaching of the moves. He’s in almost every level. It ruins the game. I should be thinking about classic stages like the Christmas one (unbelievable) and Rusty bucket bay or something it was fr...

Re: 2019/12/1: Playstation: NCAA Football 2000, NCAA Football 2001

I played 99 and 01 a lot. They are much much simpler than modern football games. They have all the stadiums and I believe every fight song too. NCAA ‘99 imo is the best of them all. That was back in ‘98 and I got excited playing with features like stadiums, real players by number. I think 99’ is pro...

Re: What Games Are We Thankful For?

You know what, it seems like SM64 is aging really well. I'll never forget the bridge coming up to the castle, that you could jump up on top of the railings. For some reason, in 1996 that blew me away, that you can jump on anything. It might be hard to understand but it was a real momentous achieveme...

Re: Remember Type-In Games?

I sure do. My brother was crazy about it. My favorite was a horse racing game that was so simple yet addictive

Re: Is anyone else ever nostalgic for bad graphics?

Seeing these early to mid 90’s dos games makes my knees weak. I can’t believe that’s part of this conversation. Dos games were as much a part of my video games that any console in those days. I think there’s a lot of games that the VGC would like. It’s really hard to find a site on the internet with...

Re: This internet is garbage

I also have had it with all the ads and videos you can’t skip. I think a lot lately about how much simpler thing: we’re back in the mid 90’s for instance. I could care lesss about modern technology. But, the only thing I do like is that you can use the internet to meet people and go ok dates:

Tua

This was a gruesome injury. Some are comparing it to Bo Jackson. He apparently has (in addition to a broken nose) a serious hip injury and is in surgery now. I'm not a fan of this guy and didn't want the Dolphins to pick him, but I sure didn't want this to happen.

Re: NFL Football

This isn’t exactly my favorite year following the Dolphins :) I wanted them to go 1-15 and get a really high draft pick. What do they do, they go win 2 of course.

Re: 100 Hour RPGs?

One thing that irks me is the trade off now since games are so big the developers have to make it really easy game. I mostly play games of ridiculously high level of difficulty. I’ll also once in a while play a SM64 or the early Super Mario Bros. Games up through Super Mario World. Those games aren’...
