Re: Sega Taking Losses

I was under the impression that at the very least, their Yakuza series was doing really well.

Re: VGC Top 20 List - Sports Genre

Like others have said, wrestling and extreme sports would be welcome editions. I couldn't make a best sports game list without titles like WWE Smackdown! Here Comes The Pain and Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4.

Re: 2019/5/7: Dreamcast: Space Channel 5, Who Wants to Beat Up a Millionaire?

I looked up some gameplay footage of Who Wants to Beat Up a Millionaire , and the graphics are so insultingly bad that I'm not sure how I'd be offended by the "violence" even if the characters were all starving orphans. It looks like you're beating up a rubber clown. The faces are the wor...

That Who Wants To Beat Up A Millionaire review is fantastic. I love your really negative reviews, because you're always hilarious and absolutely savage.

Re: Super Mario Land (GB)

I really like this game. It's fairly simplistic, but still yet another great Mario platformer. However, the sequel, 6 Golden Coins, is even better! With a world map that contains a bunch of levels, large variety of powerups, great level design, and really good graphics and music for a GB game, this ...

Favorite '80s Albums

I really loved the '90s albums thread, so I decided to start a similar thread for the '80s (I'll also do one for the '70s as that's my 2nd favorite musical decade after the '90s). I have somewhat limited experience with this decade's music compared to the '90s, but I can still list a few favorites: ...

Re: Move over, ATGames. M2 is here to save the day!

I hate to be that guy, but I'm going to be that guy. This is great news and all, but when is Sega going to realize that they made more than one console? How many times are they going to re-release Genesis games? When are we going to get more Saturn/Dreamcast/Master System/Game Gear compilations or m...

Re: Best Kart Racer of N64/PS1 era?

Diddy Kong Racing for sure. An actual fleshed out single player experience, three different styles of racing, upgradeable powerups, boss races, great track design, and a huge amount of courses are all offered on this cartridge. What more could you ask for?

Re: What made you love video games?

I've been playing video games for as long as I could remember, but playing Super Mario 64 for the first time blew my mind. The large levels they gave you to explore and the freedom you were offered rather than "get to the end" sidescrolling levels was a huge leap forward for five year old ...
