Re: Miniature NES with 30 built-in games

I've adjusted somewhat, but keep getting stuck on SodaPop... Press down to block when he ducks down to do his uppercut. This will stun him and you can punch to get a star. Using star punches on him will knock him down instantly. You can do this twice before he starts dodging star punches, but it wi...

Re: Miniature NES with 30 built-in games

I agree that it's a fun toy for $60. I play about 15-30 minutes a night and it's just right for me. I'm mostly interested in Punch Out, Zelda, and learning to Speedrun Mario 3. May still pick up a 3DS... Unfortunately you will probably have issues with Punch Out because of lag. It's probably the mo...

Re: 2017/2/21: NES: P.O.W., Astyanax

I've completed POW twice. It's no Double Dragon, but it's decent. The stages are long and get repetitive, especially the fourth stage. I love the huge final boss. Astyanax has nice graphics with the large sprites but the slowness of your character plus lots of enemies to bump you into pits can result...

Plumbers Don't Wear Ties is a good Valentine's Day game.

Re: Worst Game Titles?

Re: 2017/2/10: Playstation 4: Steep

I've changed my mind. Requiring an internet connection is a good thing. I think they should also stream internet ads while you are playing. Ads will benefit consumers by helping them with prospective purchases. They should charge an annual or even monthly licensing fee for continued use of this prod...

Probably the awful name hurt sales. It sounds like a crappy religious game.

Re: 2017/2/10: Playstation 4: Steep

It's total bull that even console games require online connectivity for single player play. At least keep that stuff confined to PC gaming where it belongs. As games become digital downloads only and require connecting to servers, preservation is lost. Of course companies love it because they retain...
