Re: Atari VCS in trouble!

I feel like this project has no direction. It's like the Jaguar all over again. Except this time I don't think any one is even going to pay attention. And this is coming from the biggest Atari fan. Worse than the Jaguar. At least there were Jaguar exclusives. Have any games been announced for the V...

Re: Worst Pain You Ever Felt

My worst actual pain was many years ago when I was a teenager and drank two quarts of really sour lemonade from a convenience store and then threw it all back up. The nausea was incredible and it didn't even feel better after vomiting. Citric acid poisoning, maybe? I've also had some intense arthrit...

Castlevania, Castlevania III, Super Castlevania IV and the NES Ninja Gaidens also have the boss's life bar permanently below yours so it doesn't seem too strange to me.

Re: I feel like I'm the only one who is not into Pokemon

There’s a lot of talk about Pokemon lately, with two new switch games being announced. It is also the 23rd anniversary of the series. I’ve never played a main series Pokemon game. I’ve played various games featuring Pokemon characters, like Pokemon Stadium, and Pokemon Puzzle League. They seem like...

Re: Worst Pain You Ever Felt

I recently beat Bump n Jump on the NES after several weeks of effort. It's not popular or notorious enough to be make most "toughest NES games" lists, but it's up there. The Mexican Runner listed it as one of the top ten hardest games that he beat for Nesmania. It's got 16 stages full of B...

Re: 2019/1/27: NES: Code Name: Viper, Power Blade

Loved the Code Name: Viper review, very funny. They're actually both good reviews and got me interested in the games. It's funny that Power Blade was a $3 loose game just ten years ago and now it goes for $45 loose (according to PriceCharting.com). I know a lot of games have gone up in price, but n...

Re: Album Sales Dying Fast

I used to buy CDs all the time but now I mostly listen to music on Youtube. It's too convenient to have all that free music at my fingertips without the hassle of signing up for anything or download anything.

Re: Ghostbusters (Sega Master System)

This review almost makes me want to check out the Master System version, just to see how much better than the 2600 version it is. Also, to kill the song from the 2600 version, which won't stop playing in my head now that you've reminded me about what it's actually like to play any version of this g...

Re: Bad game names

Donkey Kong is such a classic, iconic title that I can't imagine the games being called anything else. I would hardly list it as a bad name. It just fits for some reason. I've always liked it.
