Re: Video Game Culture in the NHL

I feel like there’s a persecution complex with some people who enjoy gaming. Like gamers are so desperate to point out “see look, athletes play games too!” It’s pretty common I feel with everyone, 40 years and younger especially, because those are the people who grew up with gaming. Look how many pe...

Re: Big Bang Theory Ending

Seriously, get past that the show is making fun of nerds (which is what I took it for initially as I am one). Instead it's more about the relationships between people. I can’t speak for anyone else, but that has nothing to do with my disdain for the show. I saw the couple episodes about five years ...

Re: Shigeru Miyamoto Urges Developers To Embrace Subscription Services

I think that artice is a little misleading. He actually said more stuff. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.usgamer.net/amp/shigeru-miyamoto-has-a-warning-for-the-games-industry He plainly states that Nintendo is going to continue with fixed cost pricing. His subscription quote was about developers wo...

Re: Big Bang Theory Ending

I’ve seen maybe two episodes - hated them both. I just don’t think it’s funny, and if you youtube videos of their “jokes” with the laugh track it’s even less funny. Compared to its contemporaries like Curb Your Enthusiasm, or other network commedies like The Office or Parks and Rec it doesn’t hold up.

Re: NES Classic best selling console

Yeah, kinda agree with Banjo about a PS1 mini. Too many of its iconic games are third party. Sony’s internal studios didn’t really pick up steam until later in the PS2 era. What’s weird to me though is Sony’s disowning of their PS1 legacy as of late, and most of their PS2’s. There’s no way to play P...

Re: Kingdom Hearts Series

When the first one came out on PS2 I played a decent amount but never finished. I purchased the HD remixes on PS3 and never got into it again, and also bought the PS4 versions again. I want to play in sequential order but I cannot get myself to play the first one more than 10-20 minutes at a ...

Re: I switched to Android

So did/do you have an iPad, Mac, or other Apple products? The thing that also would discourage me from switching is that I have lots of apps for these other products that wouldn’t carry over to Android.

Re: I switched to Android

I've been an Apple apologist for ages, and I still prefer their computers, even though I also work with Windows PCs for work and gaming. That being said, I've gotten bored of the iPhone! Other cell phone manufacturers have historically been willing to take risks and experiment with new features, bu...

Re: A biased articles on why people should get a PS4 and Pro over the Nintendo Switch!

Second, my problem with both PS4 and Xbox One is not many exclusives, especially if you have a gaming PC, PS3, Xbox 360, PS Vita, 3DS, and a Nintendo Switch. So in my case thr Nintendo Switch fit me perfectly as I do not like dealing with PC gaming headaches or even the PS4 and Xbox One headaches o...

Re: Thai Soccer Team

Very happy for everyone involved. It’s also worth mentioning again Saman Kunan, the Thai Navy Seal who died in the rescue efforts. I’m happily surprised that there weren’t more deaths.
