Re: Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy rated E10+ from the ESRB! (The PS1 versions where all rated regular E back then!)

Timely post. I am reviewing Rocky Rodent for the SNES and I just watched Rocky getting machine-gunned down by a crime boss at the end of stage two. I wonder what rating this would get today? Mature 17+? I suspect the old Loony Tunes cartoons would be banned outright. My guess is an E10+, because ga...

This is good for people that do not want to burn CD-R and have something to own/critic to review!

Re: Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy rated E10+ from the ESRB! (The PS1 versions where all rated regular E back then!)

Hmmm... The E10+ rating is newer that the Crash Bandicoot games. If the lower level T rated games are approved for E10+ it makes since that the upper level of the old K-A & E ratings might be bumped up a notch. Then again I thought E was the 10+ rating when Crash 2 & 3 came out, w/ K-A as a...

Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy rated E10+ from the ESRB! (The PS1 versions where all rated regular E back then!)

Trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-tSpxblKUqM It could be do to 2 things? 1. The original PS1 games where all rated long before E10+ was a thing! 2. The standards are much stricter today compared to the mid to late 90's Pre-Columbine High School massacre because these games despite having a r...

Re: Dormant Sega Franchises

They should bring franchises back like the many mentioned from BanjoPickles. Here is one obscure one that should return someday, it is Floigan Bros. which originated on the Sega Dreamcast, was a very original/creative game that flopped because it came out near the end of the Sega Dreamcast, it does ...

Re: Fighting Vipers 2 (Dreamcast)

I have another update! The DC-X says "video signal not supported" on my HDTV, but then I saw Sonic mention a "wait till the disc stops making noise" trick. That worked! So now I'm able to play this game on the big screen without in crashing. I'm glad because i really enjoy this ...

Re: Fighting Vipers 2 (Dreamcast)

Sonic, You are a wealth of information! I went ahead and ordered a copy of cheats and codes. Can't go wrong for $4. Also, love the idea of an HDMI cable for the Dreamcast. I specifically bought a television with a VGA input a few years back, but even then it was hard to find because they were being...

Re: Fighting Vipers 2 (Dreamcast)

This is kind of strange. I tried polishing the disc, but same result. Then I remembered I had another disc that let me play imports called the DC-X. The only problem with that is it doesn't work with the VGA cable, so I had to play on a normal TV. Well, you lose a lot of detail in the graphics (esp...
