Last night I was reading an old copy of Retro Gamer's Hardware compilation mag, and a reference to Gorf on a Top Ten list had the line "of course, without the Galaxian stage."

Looks like the same type of issue as Jr. Pac-Man. I would've loved to see it on a Namco Museum title, but sadly I don't think that's gonna happen anytime soon. :(

Wouldn't shock me, I'm surprised Ms Pacman isn't blocked by legalities, given how it was an Arcade Mod Kit that Midway (not Namco, Midway was the US distributor n rights holder of Pacman at the time for the Arcade version) bought up and had slightly modified.

So many games are locked in legal hell, be it clone reasons (KC Munchkin and Great Giana Sisters being two), copyright infringement (Tengen Tetris) or straight up rights (if two ore more companies published/produced/developed/distributed a game and one or more of those companies was absorbed/bought/forgotten over time)

Someone on AtariAge made a homebrew of Gorf for the gameboy advance in 2009 with all the stages.
