Turrican 1 and 2 play best on Amiga. So much better than Genesis and Turbografx-16! Can't wait for the Strictly Limited Games Volumes 1 and 2 of the Turrican collection. Much better than the previously released Nintendo Switch anthology.

Is it possible to load more games into it?

Just like the C64 Mini/Max, it's really easy to add games using USB. There are so many hidden gems in the Amiga library to explore.

Just saw an article in Retro Gamer magazine about the Amiga Batman game and it looks fantastic!

Yes, it is possible to load more games. Although, I don't know if you can only do so "individually" or pre-load/hack it like the Snes/NES classic and add a ton more at once.

I pre-ordered it today on Amazon. I figured, what the heck. If it turns out great it may end up being sold out like the PC Engine one.

As for the games I think it seems like a decent list. I tried looking up a few Top X lists for the Amiga and a number of games seem to be in both spaces. I have no idea what's considered a must have for the library or not. There were something like 2000 games released for it. Whatever is on there will be more than enough to keep me busy for awhile. Retro Magazine tends to speak fondly of the Amiga and other computers of its day. You may want to browse a few of your older issues for more ideas of games to side load on it.

Absolutely zero knowledge of the Amiga but EWB is one of the very few games out there that I missed out on and would love to get a crack at it.

you would LOVE it..when i owned the Amiga back in 91-92 EWB was the game i spent the most time on..it has a great atmosphere and one of the best baseball games ever...btw there is a graphic glitch on EWB with emulators so if you see it on youtube and it doesn't look right its because of the emulator

Me and my buddy LOVED the design a stadium feature in this game. It was a blast making ridiculous stadiums! The game itself was great too and ahead of it’s time graphically.
Though I wonder if the emulator this game uses won’t have the same problem with the glitch?

You don't need to hack it to add games. Adding your own games is a built in feature. It should work like the previous C64 version. Just add your disk images to a usb stick and you are good to go.

The Amiga CD32 console system was supposed to have been released in North America. It plays the entire library of Amiga games as far as I can tell. If it wasn't for their legal issues it would have sold here in the US.

Critic, pick one up and open up a whole other console to collect games and review.

Me...I'll get the Amiga mini to keep it simple (and cheap). :)

Same here. I would LOVE a CD32 (D/Generation was in an article in EGM#55, my first game mag, and sold it to me), though the system was long dead by the time I could think to ask for it (and given the price, the answer would have been NO)
