If you are into the Atari 2600 this is a great article about the actual games that came out. With the names of the programmers for some truly great games.. like the critics all time favourite game based on the outrageous rock band Journey. The amazing title Journey's escape shipped 400 000 copies of the game!!! Wow. As the Critic will tell you himself this is his favourite game based on a rock band on the Atari 2600!!!

I love spin!!!

So the Critic was not really into JE. I loved it but he was not impressed at all. Though it is the ONLY game based on a rock band on the 2600. So it is his number 1 game. That was pure spin from me.
Also, in the article. They shipped 400 000 games but only sold 25 000 of them. Meaning they had 375 000 they could not sell. Probably why I was able to buy a copy.

Casablanca, the KISS label used to do it all the time. They shipped 1000 000 copies of each of the Kiss Solo albums!! So they went gold on the day of release. That is not the whole story. Americans do Sale or Return. So if they do not sell you send them back. I would imagine they are probably still trying to sell off the extra Peter Criss albums they printed.

The box art back then was incredible! I am not much of a collector but I do wish I held on to my Atari 2600 collection. Cool article.

I don't know how the game is, but that Atari 2600 Star Trek box is gorgeous!
