Yes, it's based on the Sinden technology.

If you do decide to get one, it will probably take a while before you get it FYI.

No doubt! Last night I played through House of Dead 3 on my arcade. It uses the Aimtrak light guns but those require a sensor bar and are about 10 years old technology wise.

The Lindens place a thin white bar around the outside image. It's what is also being used in the new 1Up Arcade machines such as T2. The guns work great. You don't need a separate camera or IR bar. The camera/smarts are in the gun itself and uses the thine white bar around the video/game to understand positioning.

I was interested until i learned it doesn't support everdrives. Makes no sense. I get what they are trying to do I just don't think there is that big a market for people with massive physical collections when you can go either the original hardware/everdrive Route OR Mister for better FPGA experience.

I can also confirm the system works with the 8BitDo Pro 2 controller.

https://www.8bitdo.com/pro2/

I use the wired version. The system has two usb ports on the front.

Another feature that is great is the ability to run patches for games. I am currently working through Doom 32x with the new patch, which is pretty incredible, really.

I love my Polymega. It is the solution that has finally let me box up my original hardware and put it into storage. Once the N64 module is released, it’ll be even better.
