Starpath Video Cassette Player

How does this thing work anyways? Don't you plug it into a cassette player and put the games into the cassette player (with the starpath being hooked up to your Atari 2600. Please, a little help here. Thanks.

Yes, the games were originally on cassette tapes.  The Starpath attachment plugs into the cartridge slot, and it has a plug that goes into the headphone jack of the tape player.

All of the Starpath games were later released on a Stella Gets A New Brain CD, which works just like the cassette games, except you use a CD player instead.

I'm not sure what the best way is to obtain these games now.  I don't know if the cassettes would still work (depends on their condition I suppose) and I don't know if the CD is still available.

If anyone has any info please chime in.
