I Got a Dreamcast

I don't have hookups for it just yet, but once I do, I plan to build up a small library of games. The question is, which ones do I snag first? I know about titles like Sonic, Crazy Taxi, Soul Calibur, and such, but which ones do I need to play first?

You've come to the perfect site then, most of us here Dreamcast fans.

Okay first I'd start off with Rayman 2,Samba De Amigo,Jet Grind Radio then go for something like Power Stone or Resident Evil: Code Veronica.

However I'd say Soul Calibur because you can't find that one on other systems as opposed to most being ported onto other systems.

It all comes down to your tastes in gaming. What genre do you like the most?

Well, the DC was blessed with a rather diverse library of games.

What types of games are you into?

I'm open to most genres, but my favorites are platformers and arcade games.

Jet Grind Radio. Super cool and fun graphics. I don't know why but I really enjoy it.

For the love of Pete, don't get Shenmue!

Really? I heard good things about it, and was actually picking it up recently. I got Sonic Adventure instead.

You probably want to check your system and see if it works before buying any games. Dreamcast is awesome but its reliability is not.
