Atari XEGS or 8-bit?
A reader wrote in suggesting I change the Atari XEGS system label in the drop-down menus, since those reviews cover the Atari 8-bit computer software in general (the XEGS runs Atari computer software in addition to its own cartridge library).
Originally I limited the site to consoles only, but with the recent addition of the Commodore 64 reviews, that doesn't really hold anymore.
Any suggestions about what I should change it to? Atari 8-bit/XEGS?

Atari XEGS or 8-bit?
Assuming that you are playing the games reviewed on the XEGS, I would leave it as is. If you begin to review games on an Atari 8-bit computer, then it might be appropriate to change it (though I don't recommend going down that computer road).

Atari XEGS or 8-bit?
Changing it to XEGS/Atari 8-bit would be more descriptive of the section, yes. These are Atari 8-bit games, you're just playing them on a different system that happens to support them as well.
Though I'd also suggest adding a "An Atari XEGS is used for the reviews in this section" disclaimer to the top of that section page - I'm not all that familiar with these systems, but cross-compatability is rarely perfect.

So "Atari XEGS/8-bit" is the way to go?
By the way, a little bird told me new C64 reviews are right around the corner.
Atari XEGS or 8-bit?
The C64 had a console version, so it seems fair to consider it a console. It's not like the Amiga or the Apple II.

The CDTV and CD32 were very different from the original Amiga computer I'm talking about.

Atari XEGS or 8-bit?
I would change it to Atari 8-bit because it's a more general term. Using Atari XEGS is kind of like saying "Playstation 2 Slim" instead of just Playstation 2, or saying "Panasonic 3DO FZ-10" instead of just 3DO.
