XBOX goes "carbon aware"

While I shut off my consoles when done playing - If I had a 200GB update to download that ABSOLUTELY MUST BE INSTALLED WHICH WILL TAKE HOURS BEFORE I CAN PLAY - and if you don't have much time to play - screw this. I would rather keep playing 8-and-16 bit games on cartridge.

Yeah, the idea of keeping my console on and connected 24 x 7 never felt right to me, especially since it's draining both bandwidth and electricity. I guess now they're trying to be less wasteful, but it's messing with the paradigm they established.
