The overworld looks almost exactly like the ALttP overworld.

Damn I want to play that....in 2D. I can't see in 3D like that, not for twenty years now. I always go to non-3D movies.

Skip to .45 seconds in to get to gameplay....

I am hyped by how great this looks, 3DS has had a great year, however this is probably the only retail game I will buy in the second half.....

I like ActRaiser's idea. Where is the 3DS Player? I wanna play my DS Fire Emblem games on a Wii U.

I'd also love to see a 3DS Player for the Wii U be released. Seems a shame for games like this to be limited to the handheld realm of small screens.

Well, that's a two edged sword - if handhelds do not have several high calibre exclusives, it cuts into the reason to buy them. I think the Vita could testify to that, to a point.

Also, there is no doubt, over time, the Wii U or another Nintendo home console  will get a game similar to this - its just a matter of time.

You kind of have to enjoy things in the moment, for what they are. 3DS has a great library, and this game shows every indication of being one of the finest - if not the finest - when it releases. Personally, I cannot 'poor mouth' that. Maybe I will upgrade to an XL, if I find a good deal, and enjoy it on a somewhat larger screen.

Segatorius, you definitely need to buy a 3DS XL. The original 3DS has TERRIBLE durability. Out of NOWHERE these lines ran down both ends of my screen, they were scratches. The XL loses this problem. And unlike the original, it can NOT pick up finger prints from space!

Just because there's a Wii U accessory like the Game Boy Player was for the GameCube doesn't suddenly mean that a 3DS release wouldn't be a 3DS exclusive. And the presence of similar console games is meaningless when we're talking about wanting to play DS/3DS games on a television.

Unless sales simply just didn't justify the expenditure, there's nothing there for them to lose if they were to release a 3DS Player accessory for the Wii U. It would only increase their customer base to sell games to and would sell more hardware than they'd of otherwise done.

Really the only thing they'd run the slightest risk of losing a small amount of revenue on would be overlapping games that are available on both their 3DS Virtual Console and their console counterparts. Otherwise a 3DS Player would just be a positive for both the 3DS and the Wii U programs.
