This is pretty good for a starting list. I'll definitely pick up Kotor and maybe Sid Meiers' Pirates. I'm crossing my fingers for a US release of Metal Wolf Chaos.

Launches tomorrow. Here's some comparison videos that MS has posted.

Black is also on the launch list, which is one I was hoping to see be included. I bet it looks spectacular.

And Sony's PS2 on PS4 list might give some hints on upcoming 3rd party releases. We already several titles in common between the two. So I bet we can count on further SNK and THQ releases, along with Rockstar support eventually.

Fusion frenzy. I remember that game. I was awful. MS thought they could do better than Mario Party via Hudson soft. It even had a sequel on the xbox 360. Truly tragic and lamentable. Mario party was so wonderful and fun everything this game is not. This is the game that is available on BC? Why punish us?

I’m very happy about Panzer Dragoon Orta. I don’t have my original Xbox hooked up so I don’t play it much. That’s one of my favorite games.

I loved Mercenaries Playground of Destruction especially with the cheat codes that made it even more fun like the one that let's you play the campaign as Indiana Jones or Han Solo.

Never owned an original Xbox, but grew up with a Saturn and loved Panzer Dragoon 1 and 2. Panzer Dragoon Orta is really awesome. Seems to be a worthy sequel, and definitely better than the spiritual successor Crimson Dragon tha launched with Xbox One. Only thing I don’t like is the weird, 15:9 aspect ratio which causes black bars on the sides of the screen.

The Xbox One backwards compatibility program got its last game announcements earlier this evening. These will be added in the coming weeks. Also, the emulated Xbox 360 content in Rare Replay will be getting Xbox One X enhanced patches.

Xbox
-Armed and Dangerous
-Indiana Jones & the Emperor's Tomb
-Sphinx and the Cursed Monkey
-Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell
-Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory
-Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Double Agent
-Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow
-Unreal Championship 2

Xbox 360
-Asura’s Wrath
-Battlefield 2: Modern Combat
-Enchanted Arms
-Enslaved: Odyssey to the West
-Far Cry Classic
-Far Cry Instincts Predator
-Infinite Undiscovery
-Peter Jackson’s King Kong: The Official Game of the Movie
-Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands
-Skate
-Star Ocean: The Last Hope
-Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo
-Syndicate
-Too Human (Free to download off the Xbox Live marketplace on the 360/XB1 once it arrives)
-Unreal Tournament III

Lots of stuff swirling around Xbox Next being compatible with "4 generations of Xbox software". Remains to be seen if that announcement just refers to Xbox One backwards compatibility (And by extension, compatibility with the selection of 360 games and the ~40 original Xbox games that joined the XB1 compatibility list) or if we can expect to actually be able to play our full Xbox and Xbox 360 libraries on Xbox Next.

We've also been told about accessory backwards compatibility, so it would appear that at least our Xbox One accessories will be able to be carried forward. Details remain to be confirmed such as if wired 360 controllers are included, but it's promising news for owners of expensive Xbox One arcade sticks and wheel/pedal setups that they won't be automatically and arbitrarily declared obsolete.

I'm seeing this as a hibernation for the current program until they can iron out Backwards Compatibility on next generation hardware. If anyone doesn't remember, some of the hottest titles that made it onto the program ran like hot garbage in the very beginning month, then they had to wait a good while between a whole quarter to get Original Xbox games onto the list.
