Xbox One is getting an update that includes a "co-pilot' mode. It is going to allow 2 controllers to act as one. Its a way to make gaming more accessible. This will let gamers that need assistance or need two controllers because they need to configure them in an uncommon way to play. I think it may also be fun for parents to cooperatively play with younger kids. kudos to Microsoft for doing this.

That's really cool. When my nephews were really young this would have been cool because they always wanted to play video games but after any challenge they wanted me to play that part. Kudos to Microsoft.. Never thought I'd say that.

So how does this work? Does one control override the other?

I read about it on Ars Technica. The article was not clear. It may be configurable in more than one way.
