Should Loot Boxes Be Regulated?

Postby VideoGameCritic » May 25th, 2018, 7:52 pm

I was reading this article about Loot Boxes being regulated and the industry pushing back.

On one hand, I'm generally against the govt trying to tell us how to run out lives. On the other hand, loot boxes are a heinous business practice.

Where do you stand?

I think Loot Boxes should be regulated especially aftwr the now infamous Battlefront 2 situation which was not well received at all! Ir will teach EA a lesson!

I think regulating these is silly. What's next? Regulating novelty capsule machines and Kinder Surprise eggs? This is the wedge issue that ends with censorship of content and themes. What Jack Thompson couldn't achieve against the industry, gamers will welcome into the industry of their own accord and call it a victory.
