The developers of the successful indie game Firewatch have announced a portable system that has a crank as part of the controls:

A weird idea for sure, but at least looks more interesting than most modern gaming platforms not made by the Big Three.
It also has a bizarre approach where games are released in "seasons" (apparently only digitally), and I can't say I'm really sold on the $150 price tag. Even so, I can't help but wonder what will become of this thing.

Apparently no backlight.
Screw this I hope it never sells one single batch.
Even that dorky freaking POCKETSPRITE was usable indoors, and my thumbnail could probably smash its display.

Looks interesting for sure. But I hope to God that they change the name for this handheld before it hits the stores..
