https://nintendoeverything.com/best-sel ... or-switch/

Notes: It only covers the US other countries not included so this list may not be obvious to everyone here.

But anyways here are my thoughts on each of these entries

1 – Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle: Not surprising considering it has Mario so this one won by default also the Rabbids have a big Nintendo History so theirs that.

2 – Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy: This is rather surprising as Crash Bandicoot is mostly associated with the PlayStation brand, but it impressive to see this as the highest selling 3rd party Switch game with no Nintendo characters attached like the top one above. Also mind you games related to the PlayStation history like NIS games and FF7 are on Switch so there's that. The fact it outsold all the Mega Man and Sonic related games on Switch is just mind blowing. But a good thing this port did well as we are getting the upcoming Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled this Friday and the upcoming late Switch port of Spyro Reignited Trilogy this September.

3 – Diablo III: Eternal Collection: Currently the only M rated game in the top 10 (yes MK 11 launched #1 on launch moth according to NPD: https://venturebeat.com/2019/05/21/apri ... no-1-spot/, only dropping to # in May: https://venturebeat.com/2019/06/18/may- ... eneration/), but this is currently the best selling old M rated game on Switch. Rather impressive for a company like Blizzard who has not been with Nintendo for nearly 15 years with the last time being on the GBA, and the first game in the said franchise to be on Nintendo is rather nuts.

4 – Just Dance 2019 and 5 – Just Dance 2018: It not surprising as this series sells well with the family audience in general, heck the series still sells well on og Wii for pets sack as the top 5 best seliing og Wii games in 2018 4 of the 5 where Just Dance titles https://nintendoeverything.com/npd-top- ... s-in-2018/, and mind you Just Dance 2020 is hitting both Switch and og Wii at the same time which is insane as Ubisoft just drop PS3/Xbox 360/Wii U support but not Wii, it just odd!: http://www.nintendolife.com/news/2019/0 ... dance_2020

6 – LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 and 7 – LEGO The Incredibles: Both are Lego games which do well on Nintendo both at home and Japan which is not a huge market for the series mind you. And considering these involve Disney family brands with a kid frendly brand makes it a match made in heaven for the Switch audience.

8 – NBA 2K18: Currently the only worthwhile sport sim ports on Switch as the rest have been hot garbage for the most part (looking at you EA with FIFA which I will get to later.) In fact 2K19 and likely 20 are on the said console and because this port did well, Take-Two Interactive has done decent support with not only that series of games including the NBA 2K Playgrounds 2 spin-off game, but other games like L.A. Noire via Rockstar Games, Civilization VI and Carnival Games via 2K Games the former has cross save with PC and the later is a long time Nintendo 3rd party franchise granted shovelware but still, and the now infamous WWE 2K18 aka one of the worst ports that is not ARK or the FIFA series.

9 – Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate: This series is no stranger to Nintendo starting with og Wii and later 3DS, Wii U, and now Switch. It acts as the systems answer to Monster Hunter: World which is currently not on Switch yet.

10 – FIFA 18 even though the port along with the later FIFA ports on Switch especially the upcoming FIFA 20 Legacy Edition this year are all gimped. It hard to believe that high for US players. It might be better or worse in the PAL region as FIFA is huge their. But this may explain why EA is not big on the Switch.

Also even though Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy and Diablo III: Eternal Collection both sold well on Switch, we still have yet to get Call of Duty which is rather sad for Activision case.

I am sure people like BanjoPickles will love this thread as it does show positive news for those that want to know what physical 3rd party games sell well on the Switch in the US.
