I'm assuming you can play all this offline with no fuss.
No need to go online to play old-school style games.

the only time you will ever have to go online is if you want to purchase a game in the store or have your score entered
in the leader board but there's also a local leader board too..other than that it's all offline

The local four player games reminded me of the Atari 2600 for some reason. I might actually get this. I wasn't interested before but local play certainly is a bonus.
