I was expecting a glitch where the QB just wasn't there, but this is much more hilarious/tragic.

What's worse is that EA will still hold exclusive rights to create 'simulation' NFL games, when clearly they haven't been doing that for a very long time and continue to release games that are either broken, exploitable or just fail to capture the nature of the game.

What's crazier is the NFL's lax attitude to it. Either the people who market out the license don't know enough about video games to challenge them or they simply don't care. Which is silly considering how protective of their product they are; it's the reason they wanted only one developer to have exclusive rights in the first place. And is also why they don't let you do certain things like edit uniforms of the teams - giving the example that they don't want people to make the Raiders pink as it soils their brand and, by association, the league's too.

It's 2020 and you still can't execute a realistic fade to the back of the end zone from 10 yards out, but don't worry about that EA, you be sure to stop gamers from making the Raiders look like more of a joke than Mark Davis' haircut.

What’s funny is that in the late 90’s EA took complete control of the computer market for sports simulations, especially baseball and football. It’s not just Sega getting kicked out. It’s just about every other football series too. Front Page Sports Football and Baseball got discontinued when they were making amazing games. I guarantee you in the Football Pro games you can’t just run the ball and when against any good opponent.
