I was looking forward to this game and almost picked it up on the PS4. Glad I didn't! I will wait till I get a PS5 and then grab it. In the meantime there is still plenty of great games to choose from.

Do you guys think this mess will convince other publishers to hold off on releasing their games until the game is actually ready??

Is this the worst hyped game launch of all time? Game has been pulled, lawsuits filed, people fired, babies crying....has it all.

I'm happy that publishers have made an effort to support older consoles with their own versions of new games, but this is one of those instances were they shouldn't have bothered (also see the PS3 version of Mordor: Shadow of War). I remember hearing that Netherrealm Studios originally intended to release Mortal Kombat X for the PS3 and 360 but once they saw the results they shelved it.

Agreed. When I saw the trailers and what not, I just assumed it was going to be exclusive to PS5, PC, and SeX Box. Are watered down ports EVER successful?

Sure. Ms. Pac-Man on 2600. Duke Nukem 3d on Saturn. Marvel vs. Capcom 3 on Vita.

You've just got to be realistic about the system limitations.

And you can't rush the downgrade.

Cyberpunk 2077's PS4/XBoxOne ports weren't a priority, according to the people making them. They just didn't care, and they didn't want to hire anyone more qualified to do it.

They just wanted the money, without doing the work.
