i read you can get Dev access for only $25 on the XBox series S and play emulators on it?
that's pretty awesome and i will probably get one now
has anyone here done this yet?

I had the same idea, but haven't done it. From my understanding, you don't need the latest generation of Xbox, Xbox One can run the Dev-mode app also. It's a a shame that the Series S is digital only, because I'd actually prefer that to the X as I don't have a 4K monitor/television to make use of the higher resolution.

Search for Dev Mode app on the Store. You need to purchase the licence, which I believe is around $20-25USD.

First you need to find a Xbox Series X and good luck with that. I’ve been looking for one since CHRISTMAS for my younger son who’s 13, and there are just none to be had due to chip shortage. Well I take that back, you can buy one on Walmart.com through a 3rd party for $900+. Yeah no thanks. Good luck.
