A little nicer screen, more built-in memory, 50 bucks more expensive...

Yawn?

Yeah, it looks like a good option for anyone new to the switch (which seems doubtful), but I don’t think it’s worth it as an upgrade.

That could change if some new games require it.

Yeah, I don't see the reason to upgrade yet.

It does have a network jack in the docking station and a better kick stand. But for $350 you can get a brand new Xbox Series S for $50 less or $150 more will get you the Series X or PS5.

Seeing as how most of us here favor classic games and systems, I'd imagine that current console announcements like this one often tend to fly under the radar.

I saw a little blurb about it on a different website, but didn't even click the link to read more details. My wife has a Switch, already. She loves it. I play it periodically, too. We have no complaints with it, so "upgraded" system or no, we wouldn't be looking to buy a new one, anyway.

This is true. I've spent the last few days trying to find a TV repair shop that works on CRTs and so you could imagine that OLED interests me very little, especially on system that I already have that I typically play docked anyway.

I wish Nintendo would make a powerhouse system.

It's nice. Maybe I'll pick one up in 5 years or so.

Right now, only OLED handheld I want is a replacement for my Vita.

Joycon drift issues taken care of? Other than that, if it doesn't bring anything new to the table, meh.

Lol

While that may be true with a simple fix, Nintendo still needs to address this issue by having things fixed out of the box. Not by having users having to disassemble the controller to jam a piece of paper in there.
