Lady Bug (Intellivision)

Postby VideoGameCritic » April 9th, 2021, 5:10 pm

This game is remarkable! How come it took me so long to play it? It was one of the original releases, published by Coleco.

The arcade graphics are rich and the controls feel good. The game is a bit slow in general so perfect for the Intellivision. There's quite a bit to the game so there's plenty of technique.

I was intrigued by the manual which pictured some kind of sexy fairy instead of a bug! The bottom of the cover says "color TV only". Great, now they're going to drag the VGC kicking and screaming into the 1970s!

Fab be sure to mention how it works with that truly horrible mattel controller. Ladybug was one of my all time fave Colecovision titles.

Believe you're referring to Alienblue. Lord knows what happened to that guy.

I loved that game, far more than a pac clone it had lots of strategy and great big animated bugs!

Yes! Alienblue. He was a regular almost a decade ago.
