Tokyo 2020 (Switch)

Postby VideoGameCritic » July 26th, 2021, 7:43 pm

Had a buddy over today for games. Popped this in and tried to select two players, but it said I had to download an update! What a joke.

I've been perusing the events and I'm impressed with the selection. There are 18 different sports, including baseball, beach volleyball, tennis, and rugby. Unfortunately, of the few events I've tried so far, none have been particularly enjoyable.

The set-up screens take forever....

You might like the new Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games. It has more events including a retro inspired “Tokyo 1964” mode where you play as various characters in their 8 bit and 16 bit designs. The games are kind of like the Track and Field games for the NES. I have Mario and Sonic and the one you’re referring to and I like the former a lot more.
