Started off the month of June at 5-4, which included a 3-3 home stand against the Mariners and A's. My road trip began in Boston looking sorta bleak, struggling to get hits off their pitching. Turned the tide in the late innings when my 3rd baseman M. Trasho (Leo Gomez) hit an inside the park home run to pull ahead.

Finished up the most recent road trip. Split the series at 2 apiece with Boston, swept Milwaukee, and took 2 out of 3 against the Indians. Now comes a 9 game home stand against the Tigers, Yankees, and Blue Jays to close out the month of June.

Went 6-3 against my AL East rivals in the most recent homestand, finished up a tough 17-10 June. Coming up is a road trip against Chicago and Kansas City, and coming back home to the White Sox before the All-Star break.

It's the All Star Break in my season of Ken Griffey Jr. Presents MLB for the SNES. Had a tough couple of series against the White Sox, and I may possibly see them down the line in the playoffs.

Montreal leads the AL East at 51-38, with Philadelphia (44-45) and Atlanta (42-47) as their closest competitors.
The Cubs enter the break at 55-32 in the NL Central, with Pittsburgh (49-39) and St. Louis (47-41) not far behind.
It could be a close race in the NL West, as the Giants (48-41) hold a slim lead over the Los Angeles (46-41) and Colorado (44-44).

Baltimore (61-27) appears to be running away with the AL East, and nobody is coming close.
It's neck and neck right now between the White Sox (49-38) and the Indians (50-39) in the AL Central. Milwaukee (45-44) and Minnesota (43-45) are trying their best to gain ground.

And Seattle (46-42) holds a 3 1/2 game lead over Oakland (42-45) in the AL West.

Updates are going to be posted less than usual, mainly at the end of each month of the season. With that being said....

Starting off hot after the All-Star Break with an 11-4 finish to July, and still leading the AL East with a 72-31 record, waaayyy ahead of everybody else. AL Central and West division races are close, and the Yankees (56-49) hold a one game lead over Cleveland (55-50) for the Wild Card.

Over in the National League, Montreal, Chicago, and San Francisco lead their respective divisions. Pittsburgh (59-45) holds a 4 game lead over St. Louis (55-49) in the wild card race.

The Orioles continue to close in on the AL East crown, after a 21-8 August and leads the division with a 93-39 record.

Chicago maintains a 14 game lead over Cleveland in the Central, while Seattle (68-63) holds a 2 1/2 game lead over Oakland, and a 5 1/2 game lead over Texas.

In the National League, Montreal (74-59) is facing a tough task at holding off both Philadelphia and Atlanta, who are only 4 1/2 games behind.

The Cubs (84-48) currently lead the AL Central by 10 games, and in the West, San Francisco (74-57) holds a commanding lead.

The wild card chase continues to heat up. Toronto (73-61) currently leads in the AL, with the Yankees (70-63), Red Sox (67-65), and Oakland (66-66) look to gain ground.

The NL Wild Card race is almost just as close. The Pirates (74-58) are trying to hold off the Cardinals (70-63), Phillies & Braves (69-63 each), and the Reds (68-67).

I appreciate these updates, Dial. I'm anxious to get back to some gaming - we are currently prepping for a move, so all of my consoles are packed! Should be unpacking next week, so hopefully I'll get something going in the next two weeks or so.

Wow he's a one-man wrecking crew. The homeruns and RBIs look about right, but that batting average is crazy.

Do they have steroids in this game? Is that something you can adjust?
