I've been recently watching a lot of 90s-era Stallone action flicks lately, most recently this one. I noticed I didn't have the SNES version of this game so I picked up the cart on Ebay. Man am I having a blast with this. It plays just like the movie, complete with voice samples from Sly and Snipes. Non-stop action, crazy violence, and great atmosphere.
I was a little nervous to look back on my old Genesis review. Sometimes the Dave-of-the-past can be a pretty tough critic. I breathed a sigh of relief when I saw it got an A-! That guy really "gets" it! Best review ever. Won't need to re-review that, but I may want to give the Sega CD version another look however (B-).
