I haven't played the Switch version, but I have looked into it. What I keep seeing it's a really good port "for a Switch game." As in, it's missing a ton of the content the "bigger" consoles have, and it consistently crashes after playing for more than a couple hours, but Nintendo fans praise it because at least it doesn't crash every couple minutes!

Mortal Kombat 1 on Switch is aiming to find out.

Low resolution, unstable frame rate, glitched clothing, triple the length of Neo Geo CD load times...

It struggles to even run the character select menu.

Edit: But that's nothing compared to the big nothing that is Popeye. And Popeye looks like the Miyamoto arcade original compared to The Last Hope: Dead Zone Revival...hell, you'd need to bump up every other F- review by a full letter grade to do it justice.

Popeye was delisted this year because the license expired. He'll be in the public domain next year, though...
