I'm revisiting this game and trying to give it a chance. To be honest it's kind of a mess. The modes are confusing, the scoring is confusing, and the camera is never in the right place.
However, the quick short matches are fun. If you own the Dreamcast joystick it works well. And the dark, dreary environments feel very appropriate.
I just finished the team battle tournament mode (with a CPU partner) and now I think I'm going to subject my friends to the split-screen modes.

Spawn is a very unlucky character in gaming history, all his games I know (DC, GBC, PS1, PS2, SNES) are quite bad.
