Intellivision D&D Games

I'm in the process of re-reviewing the three D&D games for the Intellivision. These games were all very impressive for their time. Practically a dream-come-true for D&D fans, who otherwise required a group of friends to play.

The funny thing is, these may have been the pinnacle of D&D for video games! I mean, it's such an obvious license, but over the years I haven't heard much about D&D in video games. I always think of these Intellivision games when the topic comes up.

I'd like to know if any of you have played these and what your impressions are.

Played the first one via emulation on my 3DS and quite liked it. NINTV-DS can display overlays on the touch screen that help a lot, I posted some photos of that in this topic.

Started playing the 2nd one but got sidetracked and never got back to it. Probably should dust off my 3Ds and update the emulators as wavemotion-dave has done a lot of updates since I last fired it up.

i had The 1st 2 carts when they were released in the early 80s i really liked them even tho i am not a D&D fan at all..i liked Treasure of Tarmin the best and would love to play an updated game that plays like it..hopefully you'll bump up the grade a bit because i think its better than a C+!
