I've had a soft spot for point and click puzzle games ever since I discovered internet flash games in middle school. This was on sale for a few dollars (and still is until the 22nd if you're interested) and I figured, why not? You play as paranormal detective Frankie Mcqueen and his dimwit police sidekick, Dooley, as they solve a series of supernatural mysteries. There are nine cases, and they're all short enough that they can be beaten in about half an hour. I would've liked them to be a bit longer, but at least they don't wear out their welcome. So far the puzzles have been a little too easy for my tastes too. I appreciate not having to look up the solutions, but is "use paint thinner on paint" really a puzzle? Still, it gets a pass from me because it's freaking hilarious. Each room has lots of things to click on, and I found myself backtracking every time something happened to see if any of the side characters had anything funny to say about it (they usually did). I don't know if it'll warrant writing a full review for, but it gets a thumbs up from me.
I just solved the last case. A couple of the puzzles got a little moon logic-y, but this is the rare example of a point and click game I didn't have to look up a solution to once. And like I said before, the writing's really funny. Definitely recommend to anyone who likes these kinds of games!
