It occurred to me that while this game makes good use of weather conditions, they missed a golden opportunity.
They should have had a thunderstorm at night, with crashing thunder and flashing lightning.
I think it would have been pretty easy to do.

Not only is this my favorite racing title for the 2600, it's also one of my favorite racing games period. It's so simple, so straight forward, and so much fun. I never get tired of it.

That sounds more like an unneeded epilepsy warning. And I don't think thunder crashes would sound very good given the limited sound capabilities of the 2600.
