I've waited so long for today. The game Yooka-Laylee is now out, So I TheBlondeGamePunk3 is going to take a break from the worst fighting games of all time and sit down to this game. I pre-ordered this game last year because it reminded me so much of Banjo-Kazooie and Crash Bandicoot from the 1990's, Having played games since 1997, I Must've played those two games to death as I couldn't stop my "Fascination" with their Storyline and graphics. ;) ;)

Sure, I've read the reviews by "big" reviewers like IGN, and Gamespot but Generally I won't really form an "bad or good" opinion until I've played it from start to finish and that as I've seen in some gameplay videos might take me some times *laugh* ;) ;)
I do feel that the Adventure genre is dying slowly but Yooka-Laylee will give that genre a shot in the arm if it's as they hyped it up to be.

Played a bit myself. I like how the worlds are crafted. Everything blends so well, and what would normally be just background stuff in other games is completely explorable here. The controls are also very tight. The whole game screams quality, but something is missing. I don't know what it is, but something just feels, off. It's less Banjo, more Precursor Legacy.

The Art style of Yooka-Laylee does scream 1990's when you "turn on" the Shader for N64 mode, Generally both Modern and N64 graphics make the game unique for appealing to old and new adventure gamers. The Controls as you mentioned are tight and don't feel "mushy" like in Banjo-Kazooie.. But then again we have two joysticks on the Playstation 4 controller vs a single joystick on Nintendo 64 and that makes a difference.

Still don't have a negative or positive opinion on Yooka-Laylee and since I haven't gotten to the third world yet, I can kick back and play the game for some time.. ;) ;) ;)
