VGC Recommendation: Super Mario Bros. Deluxe (Game Boy Color)

I was replaying Super Mario Bros. Deluxe on the Game Boy Color (also in 3DS eShop) and I consider this version the best edition of the original Super Mario Bros. The controls seem a little tighter than the original NES version and sometimes it's possbile to scroll the screen a little backwards. Of course, the screen is smaller, but the graphics are clearer. There's a nice competition mode included (race against ghost towards end level). Best of all, a version of Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels (the Japanse version of Super Mario Bros. 2) is included as a (simple) cheat!

I found this really difficult to get on with, the screen is really zoomed in leaving me with less reaction time. I actually ended up selling my copy and much preferred the Mario Land games on the original GB.
