Spies in the Night (Atari 2600)

Postby VideoGameCritic » April 30th, 2019, 9:17 pm

This new Atari 2600 homebrew is pretty remarkable! My friends were bracing for the worst but they all really enjoyed it.

You control a guy in the foreground moving between randomly generated walls, trying to stay out of the light coming from a rotating lighthouse in the distance. The game employs a really good black and white "Film Noir" style. Very suspenseful as the clock runs down. In advanced stages you need to avoid gunfire too!

Working on the review now, but I have to say this is impressive. Check it out!

I see. The lighthouse is a timer.

It does look fun, but the title implies something more. Shouldn't you be grabbing secret documents & dodging other spies?
