So I picked up this floppy game a few months back with an order to one of those online Atari stores in CA (see my links section). I was saving it for Halloween but now that I try it, it's not working. It's a shame because it looks like a fun game:

The game works fine except when I push the joystick left, Blinky appears on the far right side of the screen, as if he's stuck. I think I can actually move him in both directions, but I'm moving blind when I push to the left, so it's unplayable.
While it's tempting to say the floppy is bad, I'm not so sure. The thing loads up just fine. Normally when the floppy goes bad, the checksum doesn't compute and the thing just load at all.
It appears that the game was originally a tape cassette. Maybe this floppy transfer didn't work out.
Anyway this is one Halloween game I won't be reviewing, unless someone knows some kind of workaround.

I'm completely useless about the technical issue. But it is too bad it doesn't work.. Judging from the video, looks like a cool game and too bad it can't be reviewed.

It's possible I could review it in the future if I find a working copy. But you don't see too many old floppy computer games on ebay (unless they are complete) because they don't fetch much $.
