This game was one of my first introductions to the Colecovision, as I would play it over my friend's house. While I always considered it "arcade perfect", when I revisited it recently I couldn't help notice the controls suck.
Whenever you change direction your smiley face pauses causing you to move in stops and fits. You continue to move while shooting however, which is a problem because if you touch the carcass of the creature you just killed, you die.

True, the controls are irritating, which I knocked it down a letter grade for. But the graphics and music are great. I find myself playing this one a lot.

Yeah you can learn to compensate for the quirks in the controls, but it does affect how you approach the game.
