International Karate (Atari 800)

Postby ASalvaro » August 28th, 2022, 6:25 pm

What a great game this is..back in 1986 International Karate was one of the top Atari 8 bit games out and it's amazing how well it holds up 36 years (ouch) later!

It was rereleased for the GBC as International Karate 2000 and for the GBA as International Karate Advanced.

Agreed! Tight controls (even flips) and I can't believe the creativity they used with the 8 direction control and only 1 button. Great head to head action. Played the heck out of this one and should dust this one off and play it.

A fantastic game for sure. IK+ on the ST was even better.

Crazy to think how many classics like this on old computers are nearly forgotten!

yup there are hundreds of classics with awesome gameplay on the Atari and the C64 that many people will never know about which is a shame
