It was really sad seeing Djokovic fall to a young player last night. He was really laboring and you have to wonder if he has another year left in him. Maybe he'll make it a farewell tour like Raffa Nadal. Either way, I'll still be rooting for him.
As for now, I'm pulling for hometown boy Francis Tiafoe. He's come close to taking a few majors in the past, and this seems like the perfect opportunity. I recently watched him in Cincinatti, and he was playing some of his best tennis. Time to strike while the iron is hot. I just hope I don't jinx him.

I’m not quite sure why Djoker keeps going on. Granted he made the semi’s at Wimbledon. Maybe he’s doing all he can to try to keep his slam total as far ahead of the boring twosome as possible. I guess he just loves tennis perhaps. It’s funny how ridiculously rich athletes and coaches get bored. Of course Djoker wasn’t addicted to tennis when he took an extended leave way back when to spend time with Eastern European supermodels. Anyways, anybody new would be welcome.

Every dog has his day I guess. His encounters with Fed, Nadal, Wawrinka, and Murray at the peak of his powers is what I will remember, not him losing as an old man to players fitter and stronger. Not my favorite player for sure, prefered Nadal, Fed, and Wawrinka (had the best backhand that gen) but Djoko was like playing against a brick wall.
I could think of worse things to do with ones spare time

I still have no idea what kind of person Djoker is and I’ve been following him for almost 20 years. On the one hand, his courage and honesty is refreshing and something no other tennis superstars have done. On the other hand he does things like post on social media an MRI proving he had a torn muscle which should shield him from criticism following a match retirement. Who does something like that I have no idea. Him voicing his frustration when crowds don’t support him is also not a good trait. For crying out was he expecting fans to root for him instead of Federer or Nadal? All he had to do was keep his mouth shut about things like that and he’d have in time become well respected by everyone.

I saw that Emma Navarro pulled off an upset today and is now in the 4th round. She looks fantastic. She definitely has bulked up.

Emma Navarro went from being the slimmest, most fit woman on the tour, to being kind of chubby. All in a year.
I would expect that extra weight to hurt her, but that doesn't seem to be the case. In fact, it might give her extra power, being built more like Serena. You know, these players put their whole body into each shot.
My man Tiafoe is still going strong!

It seems like they almost need to be jacked up like that to compete with the Sabalenka’s of the world. I remember when Sophia Kenin won a major several years back and couldn’t believe she did it being so slim. The thing with Navarro is she was so skinny that she still looks good bulked up. It’s definitely different than the early 90’s when I started watching and there were a lot of hotties like Gabriela Sabatini.

I’m pretty excited for the match between Pegula and Navarro tonight. I think both of them are hot but rooting for Navarro. Maybe it’d be better if they didn’t have to play each other. I know it’s a big upset if Navarro pulls it off and it’s not like she’s against Sabalenka or Gauff.

I hope Pegula can win the tournament. She looked really hot today. I think she might have lost a little weight. Shockingly she looked less buff than Navarro. The tides have turned. Of course next up is Sabalenka, the inspiration for Terminator 3.

Was sorry to see my pick Tiafoe fall, but he ran into a buzzsaw by the name of Ben Shelton.
Ben has really come into his own lately. He is hitting the ball harder than anyone (the serve meter registered 158 MPH last night, which would be a record), and he's fast enough to chase down every shot you can throw at him.
I know Zverev is #1, but he's going to be in for a huge challenge.
