If a stray dog has puppies how many will survive? I think this says 20%, but I'm not sure.

Re: Dogs
Unfortunately we had to put our pug Ernie down Friday morning. It was devastating! You never know what's going to trigger you, but Sunday I was watching football, went to the fridge to grab a beer, and saw a half a can of his dog food that he would have had if only he lived four more hours. It was like when I was cleaning out my dad's apartment after he passed, and saw the board games that we would never play again.
At least I had fifteen great years with him, and for that I will always be thankful.

I'm not much into dogs, I'm more of a cat person, but if I could choose a breed or two it would be between the Golden Retriever or the Welsh Corgi. The Golden Retriever is one of the most pleasant dog breeds around, so is the Corgi, like a miniature fox/wolf in your house.

Re: Dogs
Sorry for your loss. Pooches are the best animal ever. I do love this dogs thread and come back and look adoringly and jealously at other peoples dogs. I am poochless at the present time.
